Bassil Foda - Managing Director

Bassil, a.k.a. Baz, is founder, managing director and the backbone of Blackmint. His focus is to continue the agency’s success by driving the team to new heights.

His early career was spent rising through the ranks of Egypt’s media industry, working for local and global agencies, before making a mark as account director with several prestigious UAE organisations. This wealth of experience, coupled with in-depth knowledge of the Middle East market, led to the emergence of Blackmint.

Marketing and communications aside, weekends involve indulging the joys of gaming and satisfying his love of photography.

Baher Alsibaei - Client Services Director

Baher, a.k.a. Berto, is a create enthusiast. Media is his passion and works hard to add “Real Value”, not only to our clients, but also to the industry as a whole.

Berto holds a degree in Mass Communication and has worked in several fields throughout his career. These positions have allowed him to implement his learnings and obtain an extensive skill set suitable for the industry.

Lastly, there’re two major concepts driving Baher’s mindset, “Continuous Learning” and “Adding Real Value” to the marketing and communication profession.

It’s all about the feel good factor

As an ethical business, we feel very strongly that our presence and actions should have a positive impact on the community. To make this a reality, we support our clients with their chosen community partners by assisting with events, charity fundraisers and initiatives aimed at building links with society.

Our involvement includes helping out with marketing collateral for events like the Zurich Corporate Touch 6s’ Rugby Tournament, a fun day of sports and entertainment held annually in Dubai to bring together the community and promote a healthy lifestyle.

We also support Zurich International Life with some of their fund-raising efforts for Manzil special needs, a sharjah-based school that provides a learning environment for individuals with special needs. We enjoyed creating a series of promotional ceramic mugs to raise money for the school; each mug featured the unique artistic talents of one of the students.

As well as being extremely rewarding, it’s comforting to know that our
contributions, large or small, can make a difference to the lives of people in
our society.
